Chokha means ‘the best’. We at Chokha believe in providing the best products for daily consumptions from the heartland of India. Our products are developed and prepared in the best environment by the rural artisans with expertise in the field.

Chokha was established as a for-profit social enterprise in 2016 by
individuals who had prior experience working with Udyogini, an organization focused on empowering
women entrepreneurs. The primary mission of Chokha is to support and enhance the livelihoods of
women entrepreneurs and nano enterprises, which are very small businesses often operating at the
grassroots level.

Objectives and Vision

Workable Coalition of Women Entrepreneurs and Nano Enterprises: Chokha aims to bring together
women entrepreneurs and nano enterprises into a cohesive and supportive network. By forming this
coalition, the enterprise seeks to provide these small business owners with the resources,
knowledge, and support needed to thrive.
